Welcome to the Thai Freedom House volunteer application process!
We are looking forward to working with you.  As you can see from our website we need volunteers in all areas of running a small community based organization.  You can volunteer with us as an English as a Foreign Language teacher, a Thai Language teacher, a graphic designer, photographer, accountant, artist, marketing strategist, or circus performer, you can also just come by once a week to help in our clothing distribution center, there is way for just about everyone to get involved! We need help with daily administrative tasks in the office and training for our students and staff to advance their skills and help our organisation run more efficiently.  We also welcome artists, musicians and people with special skills to present workshops to our students, staff and community that may be short term or long term.

However, as much fun as it is to volunteer at Thai Freedom House and as beautiful, exciting and satisfying of an environment as it is, it is also a lot of work.  We are not a “volunteer vacation” placement and you will be held responsible for real outcomes from your time with us.  We have a very small permanent staff and most of them are also volunteers, we all work hard to make sure we achieve our goals of providing valuable educational and artistic opportunities for the community we serve.  If you think you will fit in or have something to offer please fill out the application below in full and attach your resume or CV and we will get back to you as soon as possible to schedule a Skype interview if you are out of the country or an in-person interview if you are already in Thailand.

If you are accepted as a volunteer, please be aware that there are fees involved depending on how long you will stay and what services you will provide.

If you are only here for a short time and would like to prepare and teach a workshop to teach a skill or produce a finished product/project that is arts related with the students please attach an outline of your proposed workshop including the objective, time needed to complete, materials needed, (will you supply the materials?) appropriate age range of students for the workshop and step by step instructions of what you plan to do.
